This script is written in AppleScript. Not GNU stuff. Not sure what you mean "Mac desktop" but if it means iMac or Mac Pro, and Mac OS 10.5+ i think it may work.

What is the shell script screencapture? Is it built on a Mac utility or a GNU utility? Does it work on the Mac desktop? I am looking for a solution for a native Mac OS X desktop to 1/ Call from Ruby (a shell script is OK); 2/ The script would capture a portion of the screen, fixed in size and position; 3/ Save the file in a known location. 4/ The Ruby would rename the file appropriately.

Just so you know, more recent binaries are available at http://github.com/mongodb/mongo-php-driver/downlo... (look for the .zips with "osx" in the name).

Being able to compile from source is nicer, though!

Thanks for doing these benchmarks! This was exciting news, and I'm just waiting to see what the pricing for the reserved instances will be – because this will determine if I use their service or not.

Very nice skype extra. Here are my suggestions to make it useable for me:
- don’t focus on sweeties and lovers .. this has also different uses E.g. hidden dock does not show me skype notifications. Would be great to have notifications of new messages in the menu bar for selected people
- make icon changeable, or not a heart
- allow multiple users to be listed not just one

But a great start .. hope you release a new version soon!

Hi,

Try to check md5 checksum, please.
Open Terminal.app, type a command like this:
% openssl md5 ~/Downloads/SweetCatcher_v20090630.dmg

My result is:
MD5(/Users/nobu/Downloads/SweetCatcher_v20090630.dmg)= 7bc5420c4c034b0a2317f9a21baca62d

If it’s not exactly the same, your downloaded file is something wrong.
I found this information. Are you using Firewall? If so, it may help you.
