Open Tab-History In New Tab :: Firefox Add-ons

This add-on is designed to allow a user to open a link from the back button drop-down menu in a new tab.

To do this the user clicks the back-forward-dropmarker button or just right clicks the back/forward button to bring up that tab’s history. By right clicking the desired link, an option to open the link in a new tab appears. The user then left clicks the option to complete the selection.

Use case:

  1. Do a Google search
  2. Click the first search result
  3. You wish to keep this page active and check the next result
  4. Use the add-on to open the Google search results in a new tab by mouse
